Summary

Minisymposia are the major activities of the OSU FORCE program!

WHAT IS IT?

OSU collaborates with a partner university (HBCU, HSI, women’s college/university) to host a half-to-full day event that consist of the following:

-Faculty and postdocs from OSU and host institution give short research talks accessible to the general public

-OSU faculty, postdocs and graduate students participate in an academic careers and pathways forum with host institution’s undergraduate and graduate students

-OSU faculty and postdocs meet with host institutions faculty to discuss ways to collaborate on research, teaching and recruitment
